Many people had the true spirit of the worst gift exchange, although occasionally a useful or lovely gift slipped in. The loveliest was undoubtedly that given to Tina Berins. Your note-taker was sure that he had the "ugliest gift" prize wrapped up, but for some reason the judges did not agree. Ruth Miller, sadly, is still under the weather and could not preside, but Karin Wilburn did a splendid job as her deputy.
